Oh my goodness, where to start? It’s been at least a year long road (I’m sure longer, but I’ll just go back to the past year), and Tavia Thomas has been with me every step of the way. When I had questions, she gave me answers or at least options I should consider. When I needed people to help with certain aspects of the house, she gave me recommendations, not just one, but several that I could choose from (rather than me trying to go through a laundry list). After Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the area in Sept 2024, she and her son made the trip up the mountain to the house to give me my first assessment of damage.
